Submissions
To submit the full paper, you must signin with your credentials, in the box
at the top right of the registration webpage.
Please submit your final revised paper before 15 July 2026, together with a final version of the one-page abstract. The template for the one-page abstract is the same as for the full paper, but the abstract is limited to one page. You may use the sections and subsections as you prefer.
All participants are also invited to participate in the conference with a e-Poster (WIP) or in the Industry Special Session. To participate with a e-Poster (WIP) you should just submit a one-page abstract in your area. To participate in the special industrial e-poster session, you may submit an extended abstract (maximum two pages) to describe the work to be presented. The e-posters will be displayed on digital screens.
The deadline to submit Abstracts and Extended Abstracts for e-Posters and Special Industrial Session is 24 July 2026.

Scientific contributions to theory, applications and measurement techniques, physical models, validation of numerical predictions or new numerical methods, including IA and machine learning related to liquid atomization and spray systems are welcome to be submitted to ILASS 2026 Lisbon.
New applications in groundbreaking areas such as biomedical flows, microfluids and any disruptive engineering applications are also encouraged.
You may submit an abstract for a full paper (poster or oral presentation) to present your work.
You may also opt to submit a single abstract that will be revised and that will present a work in progress poster.
Submission topics are organized in the following topics:
- Atomization: Fundamentals
- Atomization: Applications
- Spray dynamics
- Droplet dynamics
- Wall interactions (spray & droplet)
- Interfacial and multiphase physics: breakup, coalescence, evaporation
- Numerical Methods for drops and sprays
- Experimental and Measurement Methods for drops and sprays
- Miscellaneous
Authors of Accepted Abstracts should submit their 8-page full manuscripts according to the templates, which will be included in the material of the conference. Deadline for revised paper submission is 15 July 2026.
Full papers will be fully revised, and final versions of the papers and one-page abstracts may then be uploaded, following the timeline in Dates.
The posters will all be in digital format and do not need to be printed. E-posters can be uploaded to your author area until 31 August 2026.
All accepted papers will be associated with a DOI and Special Issues and will be later organized to be published in Atomization and Sprays, from Begel House.
