Conference Dinner

The Conference Dinner will take place at the GARE Restaurant & Terrazza Martini. The restaurant is located 700 metres from the Fundação Oriente Congress Centre, which is a 10-minute walk away.

For decades, thousands of passengers passed through the Alcântara Maritime Station before embarking on journeys to other destinations.

The building, inaugurated in the 1940s and immortalized by the panels of Almada Negreiros, remains one of the most emblematic landmarks of Lisbon's river front. "It's a space with great symbolic value in terms of heritage.“

The space features a decor inspired by the history of the Maritime Station itself. The idea was to recreate the elegant atmosphere of the old passenger ships that departed from Lisbon.

The restaurant's dining room was inspired by the dining rooms of old passenger ships. The light fixtures, benches, and tables were carefully considered in detail.

But it is on the exterior that one of the most distinctive components of the project emerges. In addition to the dining area, the Terrazza Martini was created. The space functions as a more relaxed extension of the concept, focusing on cocktails, music, and a privileged view over the Tagus River and the 25th of April Bridge.
