As part of ILASS's ongoing evolution towards stronger global industry integration, ILASS-Europe 2026 will feature a number of activities related to the recently established ILASS International Industrial Board.

To promote this initiative, we are launching a special call for posters for an industrial poster session. Authors may submit an extended abstract of up to two pages to describe the work to be presented.

The Industrial Board was recently established to strengthen the connection between industry, academia, and research organizations across the global ILASS community while maintaining the scientific rigor and technical excellence that define ILASS.

During the conference, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in:

• A special keynote presentation introducing the vision and phased development of the ILASS International Industrial Board and its role leading toward ICLASS 2027.
• Discussions and interactive engagement activities focused on how industry and academia can collaborate more effectively on emerging spray and atomization challenges.
• A dedicated industrial poster initiative highlighting real-world applications and emerging technologies in areas such as:
• Energy, and energy storage
• Advanced manufacturing and process technologies
• Micro-coating and precision deposition
• Sustainable spray processes
• Industrial diagnostics and process integration
• Emerging spray-enabled technologies

These activities are intended to encourage technically meaningful industrial participation, foster collaboration across regions, and help connect fundamental spray science with high-impact industrial applications.

ILASS-Europe 2026 represents an important step in the broader phased rollout of the ILASS International Industrial Board across the Americas, Europe, and Asia ahead of ICLASS 2027 in Miami.
